The Datalogic SR21-IR Label Sensor (Product No. SR21-IR, Part No. 953151070) is a compact, high-speed label detection sensor designed for precise sensing of transparent, opaque, or metallic labels in high-speed labeling and packaging systems. Utilizing red (633 nm), green (570 nm), and infrared (880 nm) LED emission, the SR21-IR provides exceptional detection performance, even on low-contrast or reflective materials. With a sensing distance of 0–100 mm and an ultra-fast 20 µs response time, it ensures accurate label positioning on fast-moving production lines.

The sensor features PNP and NPN outputs, a 4-pin M8 connector, and operates on a 10–30 VDC power supply with low power consumption (55 mA max). Its switching frequency of 25 kHz makes it ideal for rapid, high-throughput applications. Engineered with a ZAMA housing, glass optics, and rated IP65, the SR21-IR offers excellent durability and resistance to vibration and shock, in line with EN60068 standards. With a wide operating temperature range (-20 to +60°C), this sensor performs reliably in diverse industrial environments.
