Baumer UNAM18I6903/S14 Ultrasonic Sensor

The Baumer UNAM18I6903/S14 Ultrasonic Sensor is a high-precision ultrasonic distance measuring sensor designed for reliable, non-contact measurement in industrial environments. With a scanning range of 100 to 1000 mm, it ensures accurate detection of objects regardless of color, transparency, or surface finish.

This sensor delivers excellent performance with repeat accuracy of 0.5 mm and resolution below 0.3 mm, making it ideal for precise measurement tasks. It features a 4–20 mA analog current output (reversible to 20–4 mA), allowing seamless integration into PLC and process control systems. The teach-in adjustment function simplifies setup, while the LED indicators (yellow/red) provide clear operational feedback and alignment assistance.

Operating on a 15–30 V DC supply, the sensor includes short-circuit and reverse polarity protection for safe and reliable use. Its nickel-plated brass M18 housing and IP67 protection rating ensure durability in harsh industrial conditions. With a fast response time (<80 ms) and 240 kHz ultrasonic frequency, it offers stable and efficient performance in demanding applications.
