The Baumer IGYX08N17B3/L is a compact, high-performance inductive proximity sensor built for flush mounting in space-constrained applications. It features a 2 mm nominal sensing range and a sturdy 8 mm diameter stainless steel housing with a total length of 30 mm.

This sensor is equipped with an NPN normally open (NO) output and operates at a high switching frequency of 3 kHz, allowing for fast and accurate metal object detection. An integrated red LED offers visual feedback of the sensor’s status. It’s designed with reverse polarity and short circuit protection, ensuring reliability in demanding industrial environments.

Engineered for temperature stability, the sensor tolerates ±10% drift and has a wide operating temperature range of -25 to +75 °C. With its IP67 protection rating and a 2-meter pre-wired cable, it is perfectly suited for rugged and automated setups.
