Leuze MC388-S1M8-A Magnetically Coded Sensor
The Leuze MC388-S1M8-A Magnetically Coded Sensor is a safety switch designed for integration into control circuits up to category 4, according to EN ISO 13849-1. It provides a reliable safety system when used in combination with evaluation units such as the MSI-MC310 safety relay or the MSI 400 safety controller. With a mission time of 20 years, the switch is built for long-lasting performance and a mechanical lifetime of 10,000,000 actuation cycles.
This safety switch features reed contacts (magnetically sensitive), providing a 1NC + 1NO contact allocation, with a maximum switching voltage of 27 V AC/DC and a switching current of up to 500 mA. It has a response time of 3 ms for quick and accurate performance, ensuring safety in applications requiring immediate shutoff or interlock functions.
