The Leuze HT5B/2 Diffuse Sensor is designed for reliable object detection using the diffuse reflection principle with background suppression. It offers a guaranteed operating range up to 0.4 meters for white targets, ensuring stable performance even with varying object colors and backgrounds.

This sensor uses a focused red LED light source at 645 nm to deliver accurate detection, with a fixed focal distance of 200 mm. The NPN transistor output supports both light and dark switching depending on polarity, offering versatility for seamless integration into control systems.

Built with an IP67-rated PC-ABS plastic housing, the HT5B/2 is resistant to dust, moisture, and harsh industrial conditions. Its compact size, LED indicators, and multiturn potentiometer for easy range adjustment simplify installation and maintenance.
