The Leuze HT5.1/4X-200-M12 Diffuse Sensor is an advanced sensor ideal for object detection in industrial automation systems. Using the diffuse reflection principle with background suppression, this sensor offers accurate detection of objects at varying distances and colors. It operates with a focused beam path, providing a detection range from 0.005 to 0.4 meters, depending on the color and material of the object.

The sensor’s LED light source operates at a wavelength of 645 nm and features a round light spot geometry for precise detection. The PNP transistor output allows for reliable light switching, with a high switching frequency of 1,000 Hz and a rapid 0.5 ms response time, making it ideal for high-speed applications. With an adjustment range of 15 to 400 mm, the sensor provides flexibility for a variety of detection tasks.

The HT5.1/4X-200-M12 features a multiturn potentiometer for easy range adjustment, allowing for fine-tuned control over the detection distance. Its cable with connector and M12 male thread make for simple installation, while the IP67 protection rating ensures the sensor’s durability in harsh environments, providing resistance to dust and water. The PC-ABS plastic housing and PMMA lens cover ensure the sensor remains reliable over time, even in demanding conditions.

This sensor operates in a wide temperature range from -40°C to 60°C, making it suitable for various industrial environments. The HT5.1/4X-200-M12 sensor also includes an LED display for easy monitoring of its status and performance.
