The Leuze HT5.1/2X-M8 Diffuse Sensor is a high-performance optical sensor that utilizes the diffuse reflection principle with background suppression to ensure precise object detection in industrial applications. This sensor offers an operating range from 0.005 to 0.4 meters, with varying ranges for different object colors (white, gray, black), ensuring reliable and accurate detection across a wide range of materials and surfaces.
With a focused beam path and a red LED light source emitting at a wavelength of 645 nm, the sensor provides a round light spot geometry for targeted detection. The sensor operates with a PNP transistor output and a light switching principle, ensuring reliable signal output for automation systems. The HT5.1/2X-M8 sensor is equipped with a multiturn potentiometer for precise range adjustment within the 15 to 400 mm range, giving flexibility for a wide range of industrial applications.
