The Leuze HT3CL2/6G-M8 Diffuse Sensor operates using the diffuse reflection principle with background suppression, providing precise detection with a guaranteed operating range of 0.015 to 0.55 meters. This sensor features a red laser light source (650 nm), offering a round light spot size of 1 mm at 550 mm for high-precision detection. It has a shift angle of ±2°, ensuring reliable performance over a wide area.

The sensor supports light switching (PNP) and dark switching (NPN) modes via a push-pull transistor output, with a switching frequency of 3,000 Hz and a response time of 0.16 ms, making it ideal for fast-paced applications. Polarity reversal protection and short-circuit protection enhance the sensor's robustness. Additionally, its IP67/IP69K protection class ensures resilience against dust, water, and high-pressure cleaning.

This sensor is equipped with a multiturn potentiometer for accurate range adjustment and operates in ambient temperatures between -40°C and 55°C, making it perfect for various industrial environments.
