The Leuze HT3C.S/4P Diffuse Sensor is a compact, high-speed optical sensor optimized for the detection of small parts in industrial automation. Utilizing the diffuse reflection principle with background suppression, it delivers precise object detection with a black-white error under 10% up to 100 mm. The sensor ensures consistent performance across various object colors and materials, with a reliable operating range of 5 mm to 200 mm depending on the reflectivity.

Powered by a red LED light source at 650 nm, the sensor offers a fast switching frequency of 1,000 Hz and a 0.5 ms response time, enabling effective operation in dynamic, high-throughput environments. Housed in durable PC-ABS plastic and certified to IP67/IP69K, it withstands demanding washdown and industrial settings. With a 2-meter PUR cable, PNP transistor output, and support for both light and dark switching, the HT3C.S/4P offers flexible integration. It also features a multiturn potentiometer for easy and precise range adjustment, making it a reliable solution for fine-detection tasks.
