The Leuze HT23/2 Diffuse Sensor utilizes the diffuse reflection principle with background suppression to provide reliable and precise object detection in a variety of industrial applications. Offering a guaranteed operating range from 5 mm to 400 mm, this sensor excels in medium-range detection tasks, making it suitable for manufacturing, assembly, and material handling processes.

It features a red LED light source (645 nm), with a fixed focus and a round light spot geometry for optimized detection performance. The sensor is equipped with a NPN transistor output, supporting light switching with a switching frequency of 1,000 Hz and a response time of 0.5 ms, ensuring fast and efficient detection in automated systems. The IP67 protection rating makes it highly resistant to dust, water, and harsh environments, ensuring long-lasting durability in a wide range of industrial settings. The multiturn potentiometer allows for fine adjustments to the range, providing optimal performance in dynamic environments.
