The Leuze KRT18BM.V2/G6T-M12 Contrast Sensor is a robust and highly responsive contrast sensor from the 18B Series, designed to detect minute contrast changes with precision. With a focused RGB LED light source and a rectangular light spot measuring 1 mm x 4 mm, this sensor operates at a fixed range of 13 mm ± 3 mm, making it ideal for precise detection tasks in tight spaces. The front-facing beam path with vertical orientation ensures optimal positioning flexibility for integration into automated systems.

It features a Push-pull transistor output, allowing it to operate in both light and dark switching modes, and supports rapid switching with a frequency of 15,000 Hz and response time of just 0.033 ms. The sensor offers advanced functionalities such as color changeover, keyboard lockout, and sensitivity adjustment, all configurable through buttons and a multiturn potentiometer. Its metal diecast zinc housing provides enhanced durability, along with IP67/IP69K protection, ensuring reliability even in demanding industrial environments.
